👉 Google cancels its plan to delete 1st party cookies for advertisers. What is the proposed solution?
By working on its solution: "The Privacy Sandbox", which aims to strike a balance between the needs of businesses and the protection of user data. Google realized that the transition and deletion of 1st party cookies would require "significant work from many participants" and would have an impact on publishers, advertisers and virtually everyone involved in online advertising.
In its article released on July 22, Google announced that it will give users the opportunity to make an informed choice that applies to all their web browsing, and they will be able to change that choice at any time without giving any details about how.

👉 Session-level traffic source at last click has been made available in Google BigQuery, a nice update for analysts.
The new field session_traffic_source_last_click
provides session-level traffic source information, based on the last click.
This data corresponds to the last-click allocation visible in the GA4 user interface.
Registration session_traffic_source_last_click
complements existing traffic source data in the BigQuery schema.
This update provides access to last-click attribution data for session-level traffic sources via BigQuery exports.
☝ This update improves traffic source analysis via last-click attribution in BigQuery, aligning exports with the GA4 interface. Analysts should, however, be prepared to explain discrepancies between different attribution models.

Activate mode Publish
on Looker Studio:
As with Tableau or Power BI, Looker Studio's 'Publish' mode can be activated. This feature allows you to make changes to your dashboard in 'Draft' mode, without the viewer seeing the changes. The published version remains intact until the modifications are published.
It doesn't get any easier than this: On your dashboard, in edit mode, click on File >
Publication parameters >
Toggle on.
