🔥 What's New ?
👉 Google Analytics updates in June 2025
- Integration of beacon diagnostics with the Consent Settings Center: Google Analytics has enhanced its diagnostic tools for end-user consent. Now, website owners can more easily detect and correct errors related to consent and data collection directly via the consent settings center. This ensures greater compliance with privacy regulations and more reliable data collection.
- New data sources for importing cost data (open beta): Google Analytics extends the possibilities for importing cost data. In addition to existing sources, it is now possible to import cost data from Google Sheets, Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, HTTPS, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Snowflake. This feature, offers a more comprehensive view of marketing performance by consolidating ad spend data from various platforms.
- Automatic configuration of qualified and converted lead events: When the "lead generation" business objective is selected in Google Analytics, the platform now automatically configures qualified and converted lead events as key events. This simplifies conversion tracking for businesses focused on lead generation, by automating the configuration of important performance indicators.

👉 Google "June 2025 Core Update"
Google has rolled out a major update to its search algorithm, the "June 2025 Core Update". This update favors websites that demonstrate real expertise, authority and reliability(E-E-A-T), as well as an optimal user experience.
Most major algorithm updates are not noticeable on the day they are announced, but rather in the days that follow. At present, few sites are observing the impact of this update, although analysis tools clearly detect it.
Google has specified that this update will be rolled out over three weeks, as opposed to the usual two. If you haven't noticed any changes yet, they may be coming soon.

ℹ️ Google June 2025 Core Update Volatility Begins
👉 At Starfox Analytics, we support companies in analyzing organic performance through several methodologies such as advanced dashboards, automated alerting and Machine Learning models to detect traffic anomalies. By implementing one of these methods, you won't miss any impact of the core update.
👉 PostHog Max AI: AI Assistant (GA open beta)
PostHog has just released Max AI, an AI assistant and product analyst integrated directly into PostHog that can: analyze data to answer product questions, perform tasks quickly in the PostHog interface (such as updating filters), explain PostHog features, and much more.
This wizard can search for answers to product questions by querying the data directly, with results ranging from a simple number to a detailed list of users with all their properties. It can generate SQL queries without needing to understand SQL, and create insights that you can edit directly afterwards, and it can even perform tasks quickly in the PostHog interface for you, such as updating filters or navigating the application.
ℹ️ Max is free in beta. This approach positions PostHog Max AI as the first truly integrated "artificial product manager", capable of analyzing, visualizing and acting directly on product data without the need to copy and paste to other tools.
👉Julius AI: A conversational analytics solution
Julius AI is an AI assistant specialized in data analysis that enables complex data to be analyzed and visualized in seconds. Used by over 300,000 people and recognized by Forbes and Business Insider, it works like a chatbot similar to ChatGPT but specially designed for data analysis.
Julius lets you ask questions in natural language without needing to know complex code or formulas. Simply ask "What are the best-selling products this month?" or "Can you predict the churn for the last quarter?"
Julius supports a variety of data formats, including CSV, Excel, Google Sheets, PDF and Postgres databases.
It can be used to perform advanced analyses such as :
- Intelligent predictive modeling to forecast sales, churn or growth
- Instant visualizations by automatically transforming data into professional graphs and charts
- Automatic data cleansing and complex calculations
Julius AI has certain technical limitations, including difficulties with large and complex datasets. The tool can encounter formatting problems with scanned documents, offers limited web scraping capabilities and operates mainly in English, with limited support for other languages.
In terms of customization, although visualizations are dynamic, certain restrictions may limit data presentation and interpretation. Advanced features such as predictive modeling and data animation require significant computational resources, which can affect overall tool performance.
ℹ️ Julius AI Review: Can AI Visualize Complex Data in Seconds?
👉 Contrary to the sometimes alarmist rhetoric about AI replacing data professionals. This tool is designed toincrease capacity rather than replace data analysts. Julius AI automates repetitive technical tasks (data cleansing, standard visualizations) to free up analysts' time. This efficiency enables them to refocus on their high value-added expertise: in-depth analysis, business contextualization, formulation of complex hypotheses and transformation of insights into actionable recommendations.

👉 The Soham Parekh affair: Silicon Valley's serial moonlighter
Soham Parekh, an Indian software engineer, went viral in July 2025 after being outed for secretly working for 3-4 American startups simultaneously since 2022.
The case exploded when Suhail Doshi, ex-CEO of Mixpanel, blew the whistle on him on X: "There's a guy named Soham Parekh (in India) who works for 3-4 startups at the same time. He targets Y Combinator companies and more. Watch out."
Parekh excelled at interviewing and secured offers of up to $200,000 per position, came to work only once, frequently missed meetings and delayed deliverables, had to reschedule meetings up to 5 times and gave outlandish excuses and lied about his location, claiming to be in the USA when he was in Mumbai. In an exclusive interview, Parekh admitted to working up to 140 hours a week (20h/day), motivated by personal financial difficulties, declaring, "I'm not proud of it. I don't approve of it. I really cared about the companies.

🤩 Inside Starfox
There's been a lot of movement this summer. First of all, two high-flying experts are joining us: Clément Tabard and Sylvain Rouxel, each with over 10 years' experience in Data & Analytics, and major accounts to their credit.
We also welcome new customers who share our vision, such as Voyage Privé and Back Market. With them, we've reached a milestone. And we've dared to dream bigger: this autumn, we'll be launching The Data Circle, an exclusive international club designed for leaders who really want to change the rules of the game.
But all growth implies choices. We decided to close down our Venom Engineering subsidiary and reintegrate our Data Engineering and Modern Data Stack skills directly into the heart of Starfox Analytics. Fewer silos, more value, faster.
And in the face of a tense French market - shrinking budgets, pressure on TJM - we are announcing the opening of Starfox Analytics in Rabat. Our aim is twofold: to support our customers in Morocco, Africa and the Middle East... but also to offer performance solutions for our European customers.
Finally, on the compliance side, we conducted a strategic mission with Clémence, a data protection expert after 8 years at the CNIL. Her findings are clear: very few players are truly compliant, while at the same time making effective use of their analytics tools.
